How To Add Google Translator To WordPress Without Any Plugin

Generate The Google Translate Code.

Visit Google translate manager and you will see a button “Add your website now”. Click on that button and a new page will appear to you.

On this page, there will be three tabs which are the three steps.

Step 1:- First of all, you have to fill the URL of your website. There is an option to choose an original language of your website.

Fill the details and click on the “Next” button.

Step 2:- It will take you to the next step which is the place to configure the Google translator settings. Just like in the plugin, you can choose all languages or some specific languages.

You can also handle the design of Google translator. There are three options for the list of the languages to display.

And the position of the box can also be adjusted. If you’re good with CSS then it can be redesigned later otherwise no need.

In an advanced section, you can check the boxes accordingly. You would be happy to know that you can allow Google Analytics to track the language translation traffic.

Click on the “Get code” button.

Step 3:- On this page, you will see a box consisting the scripting code to place to your website where you want to show Google language translator.

For better user experience, it’s always recommended to add the language translator in the sidebar of your website.

Copy the code and navigate to Appearance>>Widgets and add a new “Text” widget in the sidebar, paste the code and save.

Open your website and you will see the Google language translator with the languages you have chosen.

I have chosen all the languages and the drop down menu.

For translation, you have to select the language from the list and within a few seconds, the whole content of your website will get translated to a new language.
